Common Repairs

Tilt Bar reconstruction

Replacing missing or broken staples is very affordable but in this picture the tilt bar will need some reconstruction which will add to the time & the cost.

Louvers falling out/ out of alignment

The second most common repair we see are broken Pins that  cause the louvers to fall out of alignment. We stock several common styles & sizes of pins so we can replace them & get your shutters operating like new again.

Louver falling out/ out of alignment & visual crack in louver at the pin location.

A louver split at the pin can cause it to fall out of alignment. We can either perform a functional repair or we can completely restore and paint it to look like new.

Chunk of the Louver broke out which typically causes it to fall out.

A severe impact can break a chunk of the louver completely out at the pin, leaving an unsightly hole and causing the louver to fall completely out of alignment. In this picture we had to repair what the home owner attempted to fix. Here too we can either perform a functional repair or we can restore and paint it to look like new.

Unsightly chip in paint

An unsightly chip in the paint, or even deeper into the shutter material itself, can also be restored to look like new.

I was referred to this company and was pretty impressed with their overall work and pricing. I definitely recommend Gary and his teams service.  I live in Murray, and that was not an issue at all.

We moved into a house in Salt Lake with elaborate original window frames that had been weakened throughout the years. We were worried about damaging the frames ourselves while cleaning so we called Clearview to clean all the windows in the house. The Clearview team arrived on time and were especially careful while cleaning with the old frames. They were professional and polite and I highly recommend their service.

Ryan Roggensack

These guys were wonderful! Our windows and blinds were desperately in need of a cleaning. These guys did a phenomenal job and had great customer service. It seems like either the service or the work is lacking in businesses these days, but these guys were great in both areas. We're going to make this a yearly service and we'll definitely be calling Clearview.
